La Vella Dixieland

La Vella offers in live performance a musical trip back through the origins of jazz. Their repertoire includes a multitude of styles starting from New Orleans on through swing, mainstream, blues, spirituals and ragtime. La Vella  places special importance in their musical arrangements of tunes by such authors as Jelly Roll Morton, Sidney Bechet, Duke Ellington or Lester Young keeping each tune in its original sound and style.

Lee Jones

Lee Jones is a young British Nu-Jazz guitarist and composer.

Lee has performed at Cheltenham Jazz Festival Fringe and the Birmingham International Jazz Festival in recent years; appearing in Jazzwise magazine on several occasions. Lee has also performed as a sideman with Tom Hill and The Straitjackets and recently as a special guest with guitar virtuoso Martin Taylor MBE at the Pizza Express, London. Winner of Jazz Fm’s “Best New Instrumentalist” award, Lee Jones completed the BMus Jazz (Hons) course at Birmingham Conservatoire in 2007. LEONARDO AMUEDO BIOGRAPHY


Leonardo Amuedo was born in Montevideo, Uruguay in 1967.
He learned his first accords when he was 4 years old with his brother.
By the age of 17 he was already playing with several important and known musicians in South America like Julio Frade, Osvaldo Fattoruso and Ruben Rada.
He lives and works in The Netherlands since 1990. Since then he has played with Cor Baker, Laura Fygi, Jose Koning, Batida,

LeRus Quartet

The style of the instrumental quartet founded by violist Leo Rusanovsky (solo viola, guitar or piano, drums and bass) lies on the borderline between classical music and jazz. The performance is distinguished by a high level of artistic expression, particular attention to details, as well as by the specific timbre of the viola - which by the way is not frequently used in improvised music. Technically flawless, the soloist performs with the same ease both his own arrangements of classical pieces, own compositions and jazz standards. Leticia y su Rumbadama

Leticia y su Rumbadama bestaat uit zeven topmuzikantes, die al jarenlang in vele latin-orkesten furore maakten. De Cubaanse stijlen, zoals Cha-cha-cha, Guaracha, Son montuno, Rumba en Son Cubano maar ook de Dominicaanse Merengue en de Portoricaanse Plena en Bomba vormen het repertoire. Heerlijke muziek met een zeer aanstekelijke performance. Zij maken, in grote of kleinere bezetting, van alle feesten en partijen een 'cooking Caribbean party'. Met Leticia y su Rumbadama hoeft niemand de kat meer uit de Cubaanse boom te kijken maar is het vanaf de eerste noot tropisch genieten en feesten!

Liberales

LIBERALES werd opgericht door saxofonist Peter Lieberom (Candy Dulfer, Second Vision, Mike Mainieri, Metropole Orkest) en pianist Stormvogel (Alter Ego, Wildcard, Pitch White Storm, Music Machine), de Baarnse vrienden die na uiteenlopende artistieke omzwervingen weer samen kwamen op het nest van hun oude liefde: jazz. In 2005 presenteerden Stormvogel & Lieberom hun nieuwe band 'Liberales', met veel optredens in de regio Gooi en Eemland. Het quartet speelt jazz, standards en eigen werk, en wordt gecompleteerd door Marco van Os (bas) en Dave van Beek (drums). Bij gelegenheid speelt Liberales met gastvocalisen, Gaby Kaihatu, Eline Gemerts of SaraLee Vos.

Zangeres Lisa Boray is al zo'n 25 jaar succesvol in de muziek. Lisa is o.a. bekend van de titelsong van GTST In '84 stond zij in de top 10 met haar hit Break it Out, dit nummer van haar 1e album kwam in maar liefst 67 landen uit. Jaren zong Lisa bij het rtv programma Los Vast. Zij werkte samen met artiesten als Charles Aznavour, Billy Preston, Linda Rondstadt en Dionne Warwick. Loet van der Lee Quartet

The Loet van der Lee Quartet was founded in 1991. Through the years they released 4 cd's.

In 1996 their critically acclaimed debut cd 'Going Walkabout' was released.

In 1999 they released their second cd 'Both Sides' in coöperation with A-Records/Challenge at Arnhem. On 'Both Sides' he presents a true All Star line-up with internationally renowned musicians such as Dutch guitarist Jesse van Ruller, Dutch singer Fee Claassen, the new Dutch drum sensation Martijn Vink, and stellar Australian saxist Dale Barlow.

Loran Daniel

Loran Daniel
His music is an energetic blend of melody-driven Jazz, R&B and Latin rhythm.

Trumpeter/composer Loran Daniel began trumpet studies at age 12...showing an early ability with jazz improvisation and landing his first professional gig at the age of 17.

After studying jazz and performing as lead trumpet and flugelhorn soloist with several university jazz bands, Loran relocated to Dallas, Texas where his appreciation for Latin music grew. As lead trumpet and soloist with the Dallas-based "Carabali" salsa band, he found himself in the midst of progressive Latin music scene …opening for Willie Colon, Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Ray de La Paz, El Gran Combo, Selena, and many others.

Louk Boudesteijn / Rob van de Wouw - Quintet

For approximately two years Louk Boudesteijn (trombone) and his “lifelong musical companion” Rob van de Wouw (trumpet) have led the Louk Boudesteijn/ Rob van de Wouw-Quintet (B&W-Quintet). The quintet has grown a great deal during these two years.
This growth did not go unnoticed however, for in 2002 the B&W-Quintet was asked to play at the North Sea Jazz festival. They also gave a very successful concert at the renowned Carnegie Hall (New York).

Ludmil Krumov

De muziek van de bulgaarse gitarist Ludmil Krumov is een smaakvolle smeltpot van de harmonische conceptuering, vorm en improvisionele elementen van eigentijdse jazz met typische kenmerken van de bulgaarse volksmuziek; de geornamenteerde melodien, ongelijke time signatures, en komplexe ritmes.

Ludmil Krumov, geboren in Svishtov, Bulgarije, begon op 6-jarige leeftijd piano te spelen.Hij groeide op in een muzikale familie; zijn vader was saxofonist/trompettist die Ludmil van de jongste jaren aan met een muzikale achtergrond opvoedde.
